Association of European Jewish Museums (AEJM) Conference

The Belarusian-Jewish Cultural Heritage Center took part in the annual conference of the Association of European Jewish Museums, presenting the concept, development stages, and first completed projects of the Virtual Belarusian-Jewish Museum. The event brought together museum professionals from Europe, the United States, Australia, and South Africa.

The presentation introduced the idea of a “museum without walls” — a digital, evolving platform built on international collaboration and modern technologies. Conference participants also had the opportunity to experience the VR reconstruction of the first completed project — the Great Synagogue of Wolpa.

The conference was held on 6–8 July in Paris, at the Musée d’art et d’histoire du Judaïsme.
