Maya Katznelson presents to you a rare book from the museum collection, "Belarusian Folk Tales" (Vaysrusishe folkmayses), published in Berlin in 1923. This work by Ukranian poet Leib Kvitko, illustrated by El Lissitzky, is exemplary of publications in Yiddish that combined popular tales and avant-garde illustrations.
