Release of the VR-reconstruction of the Ashmyany Great synagogue

The Belarusian-Jewish Cultural Heritage Center presents the virtual reality (VR) reconstruction of the Great Synagogue of Ashmyany – the newest object in the multimedia exhibition Belarus Shtetl, which will become a core component of the future Virtual Belarusian Jewish Museum.

You can now step inside one of Belarus’s last surviving brick-and-wood synagogues and explore its breathtaking interior: the starry dome, zodiac signs, and rising sun above the Torah Ark, - all recreated from the last surviving and archival traces.

The VR reconstruction is available as a VR application (Meta Store) and in a web-based format.
